eweCANknit is a proudly Canadian company which has created, published, and distributed easy-to-read knitting patterns with clear descriptive graphs since 1993.
Sharon Matchett, the designer of these "ewenique" practical and functional sweaters, loves to design knit-able picture knit patterns for kids of all ages. Her animal art sweaters are produced with a definite sense of humour!

Sharon has been playing with yarn for many years. In 1990 she developed the concept and several designs for the Patons "Handknits for Skaters."
Many of her barnyard critters appear under the Bernat presents eweCANknit pattern label. eweCANknit designs have been published in several Canadian publications and have been profiled in Country Woman magazine.
The eweCANknit menagerie has successfully appeared at the Creative Sewing & Needlework Festival retail show since 1993.

Today, her patterns and sweater kits are available by mail order (both retail and wholesale), and in many fine yarn stores across Canada, and in both the USA and Australia.
